Spectra Tech and Orano Announce Formation of Spectrano Joint Venture

The two companies have formed a joint venture (JV) named Spectrano, led by small business Spectra Tech.
Oak Ridge, Tenn., September 14, 2022 – In April 2022, the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) approved the application from Orano Federal Services LLC and Spectra Tech, Inc. for the Mentor-Protégé program (MPP). Following this approval, the two companies have formed a joint venture (JV) named Spectrano, led by small business Spectra Tech.

Spectrano-logo-250With its member companies’ more than 50 years of combined experience, Spectrano will pursue small business set-aside contracts and leverage its history of performance at federal sites across the country. Spectrano’s market differentiators include extensive leadership and Subject Matter Expertise (SME) experience in key mission areas combined with access to the latest generation of technology and cutting-edge nuclear industry innovations.
