Leads Orano business unit performing accelerated decommissioning of nuclear energy facilities, with ongoing operations at Vermont Yankee and Crystal River 3 nuclear energy sites.
BETHESDA, Md., October 28, 2021– Geoff Wilde has been
appointed as the President of Orano Decommissioning Services USA. Orano DS provides expertise throughout the entire decommissioning process for shutdown U.S. nuclear facilities, including engineering, planning, project management, decontamination,
dismantling, waste packaging and transport, used nuclear fuel transfer from wet to dry storage, used nuclear fuel storage and transport, and decommissioned site restoration.
Mr. Wilde takes leadership of the DS business after previously
serving as Vice President of Corporate Development for the U.S. region. During his 13 years with Orano, Mr. Wilde has held senior financial executive positions for business units performing large component replacements, operating plant services, front-end
sales and enrichment capacity development, and global development and construction of concentrated solar power projects.
Prior to joining Orano, Mr. Wilde held senior financial positions in the renewable energy, energy services, and ports and shipping industries.

Mr. Wilde graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia and an MBA in Finance from the College of William & Mary.
