Job description

As a Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll guide a dedicated team in a role that blends mentorship, attention to detail, and creative problem solving. You’ll lead a team with varying skills and experience while overseeing essential tasks like managing the inventory count program, ensuring every detail is addressed. You’ll collaborate closely with Finance and Purchasing, and tackle discrepancies, keeping operations running smoothly. With an emphasis on safety and compliance, you’ll ensure that our yellowcake shipments meet all regulatory requirements. If you are excited to join our team, we encourage you to apply!

 

Responsibilities include: 

·       Supervise the daily work of the Warehouse Staff and provide active mentoring and training for new employees

·       Manage the Warehouse material cycle count program ensuring that counts are completed as scheduled

·       Process Inventory Adjustment requests submitted by end-users

·       Daily processing of bulk receiving of reagents

·       Actively work with Finance and Purchasing Groups to resolve material receiving discrepancies as required

·       Run the MRP stock replenishment program in SAP on the required frequency

·       Complete all Warehouse month-end reporting requirements

·       Work directly with individuals within various user departments to provide support on warehouse related challenges as required

·       Ensure that dangerous goods shipping is compliant with TDG requirements

·       Ensure yellowcake shipping is compliant with all internal and regulatory requirements

·       Promote and support Operational Excellence and OE Culture

·       Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Work Location & Schedule: 

·       McClean Lake

·       14 day in/ 14 day out rotating schedule

·       Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside of normal working hours may be required

·       Indoor and Outdoor work, in all weather conditions, is required

Ideal qualifications

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:

·       10+ years’ experience in warehousing at a senior level in an industrial setting

·       Strong computer skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required

·       SAP experience is a requirement

·       Able to maintain accurate records and reports

·       Able to interact and develop effective working relationships

·       Able to adjust to the cyclical nature of milling in regards to material requirements

·       Excellent communication skills and leads by example

·       Adapts and supports change positively and takes initiative

·       Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN). Athabasca residents will be given priority
