JOB DESCRIPTION

TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano, is seeking a Warehouse Inventory Specialist (Technical Specialist II) to support TN Aiken facility located in Aiken, SC.  The candidate’s primary role will be INVENTORY CONTROL of a wide range of parts to support all field work performed by Orano loading services including ordering, stocking, and shipping parts and equipment.  **Hands-on Inventory and Warehouse experience is a MUST for this position.**

The ideal candidate will have experience with parts inventory control and logistical planning along with a strong understanding of basic equipment/automotive mechanical and electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance.

Supervisory, welding & fuel loading experience is desired but not required.  Rigging qualifications are a plus. 

 

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform Inventory Control duties, including ordering, stocking and shipping parts and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain equipment.
  • Provide technical support and advice in analyzing and evaluating routine plant or field systems, equipment, and programs.
  • Develop and recommend procedures and methods and prepare technical reports & documentation.
  • Provide resolution to routine technical or engineering-related problems.
  • Perform technical evaluations of events to determine root cause and recommends corrective action.
  • Evaluate, select, and apply technical techniques, procedures, and criteria using judgement in making adaptations and modifications to equipment to support needs.
  • Plan and conduct moderate technical or engineering-related assignments.
  • Domestic travel for short durations is required.

Please Note: The provided pay information is a guideline. Your offered salary is based upon experience, qualifications, geographic location, as well as market and business considerations.
Pay Range: $70,000-$85,000

Ideal qualifications

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.  Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher level position:

  • Warehouse experience
  • Inventory control experience (maintaining inventory list, ordering and stocking parts)Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills – Convey ideas to all levels of the Organization.
  • Excellent problem identification and resolution skills
  • Knowledge of related engineering standards, techniques, and criteria
  • Basic equipment/automotive mechanical and electrical experience as it pertains to troubleshooting and repair
  • Able to interpret basic technical designs, blueprints, and drawings
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

The following requirement is desired and will be used to differentiate all candidates who apply for this position:

  • WIMS inventory software experience
