TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano, is seeking a Drafter I-II to support the work of the Design & Drafting engineering team performed as part of its storage and transportation packages for nuclear materials projects.

 

  • The Drafter will perform a variety of engineering and design tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Prepare/update drawings and sketches under close supervision using CAD workstations and appropriate design criteria and technical manuals and following strict QA program.
  • Prepare tolerances stack-ups.
  • Perform layouts and design work using supplied data and markups utilizing theoretical and practical engineering knowledge.
  • Work closely with design engineers to ensure design control as well as coordination of designs.
  • Work closely with fabrication engineers to ensure and optimize fabricability of designs, and to help resolve fabrication issues.
  • Consult with engineering staff to ensure compliance with supplied design specifications.
  • Ensure conformance to applicable standards and codes as well as company procedures and policies.

Ideal qualifications

All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this   opportunity.  Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.

  • High school diploma or equivalent with completed coursework in drafting and CAD, plus 2-4 years of related experience.

 

Please Note: The provided salary information is a guideline. Your offered salary is based upon experience, qualifications, geographic location, as well as market and business considerations.

Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000
