We are seeking a Project Planner I-II to join our team and support the planning and scheduling of our facility project. This role offers growth opportunities between levels I-II based on experience and performance.
Working under supervision, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining project schedules, coordinating with project partners, and ensuring efficient resource allocation. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth in project planning within the nuclear power industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain current project schedules using appropriate software tools
- Assist in developing project work breakdown structures for scheduling and cost tracking
- Identify and track required project resources (staff, materials, equipment)
- Conduct schedule analysis and create "what if" scenarios (Level II)
- Evaluate impacts of changes to critical path (Level II)
- Coordinate with IS on scheduling software implementation and enhancements
- Participate in project teams providing valuable project data and analysis
- Generate accurate, timely reports and schedules for management
- Lead project schedule status meetings (Level II)
- Provide scheduling training and coaching to project staff (Level II)
- Recommend and develop scheduling process improvements

Ideal qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity. Candidates who exceed minimum qualifications may be considered for a higher-level position.
Required Qualifications
- Level I : Bachelor's Degree in a non-technical discipline plus 0-2 years of related work experience
- Level II: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering plus 0-2 years of related work experience
- OR Bachelor's Degree in a non-technical discipline plus 2-4 years of related work experience
- OR comparable additional experience in lieu of degree
Technical Skills & Knowledge
- Understanding of planning and scheduling concepts
- Knowledge of scheduling software tools
- Basic comprehension of nuclear power plant systems and components (Level II)
- Proficiency with PC-based applications (MS Office Suite)
- Experience with project management tools
