Job description
TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano USA is a leader of the American nuclear dry storage market. The company offers a complete line of products and related services to the transportation, storage, and engineering sectors operating in the fuel cycle materials market.
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Intern to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in civil engineering projects while working alongside experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will be currently pursuing a degree in Civil Engineering and demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills with good understanding of concrete structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of engineering drawings and specifications
- Support project engineers in various aspects of design and analysis
- Participate in site visits and field investigations
- Help with data collection and analysis
- Assist in the preparation of technical reports and documentation
- Contribute to project planning and scheduling activities
- Learn and apply relevant building codes and standards
- Support construction administration activities

Ideal qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Civil Engineering
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completed at least sophomore year of studies
Technical Skills
- Understanding of Structural Design for Reinforced Concrete
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Basic understanding of structural analysis software
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn
