Job description
TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano USA is a leader of the American nuclear dry storage market. The company offers a complete line of products and related services to the transportation, storage, and engineering sectors operating in the fuel cycle materials market.
We are seeking a Nuclear Analyst Intern to join our team and support nuclear analysis work related to methodology development, design, and licensing efforts for storage and transportation solutions. This role offers hands-on experience in nuclear engineering applications and exposure to industry-standard analysis tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in performing various scoping analyses for design changes and improvements
- Support methodology development for storage and transportation solutions
- Contribute to licensing documentation and technical reports
- Collaborate with senior analysts on design evaluation projects
- Help maintain and update nuclear analysis calculations
- Participate in technical review meetings

Ideal qualifications
All candidates must meet the following minimum requirements in order to be considered for this opportunity.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Nuclear Engineering
- Strong foundation in nuclear science theory and engineering principles
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (Microsoft Word, Excel)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Preferred Skills
- Experience with MCNP and SCALE software packages
- Programming knowledge in Python
- Familiarity with nuclear safety analysis
- Understanding of radiation transport theory
- Experience with technical documentation
