Responsibilities include:
· Execute multidiscipline projects of small and medium scope in direct support of operational needs
· Provide engineering expertise, and guidance to ensure compliance with industry codes, regulations, standards and good practices
· Collaborate with tradespeople and operators to help propel and implement standards and improvements to the mining process and infrastructure
· Conduct formal risk assessment of new and existing designs
· Work with other disciplines, subject matter experts and operational personnel to solve process problems and ensure quality objectives, schedules and budgets are maintained
· Recommend and implement department engineering processes and procedures
· Participate in the development of feasibility studies, value engineering and cost estimates to support continual improvement
· Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

· Understand and administer management of change (MOC) to facility changes
Work Location & Schedule:
· McClean Lake Operation
· 14 days in and 14 days out rotating schedule
· Normally an 11 hour work day, although some activity outside or normal working hours may be required

Fly Day- This position will fly in and fly out on Tuesday
Pick-Up Points: Saskatoon, Prince Albert, La Ronge, Buffalo Narrows and the designated communities in the Athabasca region of Uranium City, Stony Rapids, Fond du Lac, and Wollaston.
Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
· Bachelor degree in Mechanical, or Mine Engineering from a recognized university
· Eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGS or Eligible for membership with the Saskatchewan Applied Science Technologists and Technicians (SASTT)
· Technologists with applicable industrial design experience will be considered
· A minimum of 10 years of applicable work experience
· Experience with Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) considered an asset
· Knowledge of codes, standards and best engineering practices as applied to mining and milling applications is considered an asset
· Good understanding of process and slurry piping design as well as tank design
· Effective planning and organizational skills
· Co-ordinate activities, information, materials or resources within own area of responsibility to meet deadlines
· Ability to interact in a team environment, as well as work independently
· Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
· Ability to foster and maintain good working relationships with other departments within the company
