Responsibilities include:
· Provide all required surveying for miscellaneous earth-moving projects, site as-builts, and construction layouts
· Process survey data and produce AutoCAD drawings
· Perform engineering calculations for miscellaneous projects
· Conduct or assist in special projects, reporting studies, and designs
· Facilitate group discussions on a variety of topics (Safe work plans, Project planning, Contractor Management etc.)
· Review the continuing applicability of departmental procedures and work instructions, develop new or modify existing as required
· Maintain data records related to equipment operation and various material movement
· Promote Operational Excellence tools and initiatives
· Comply with all Orano health, safety and environmental policies, practices and procedures

Skills and Qualifications for the position include:
· Enrolled in an Engineering Degree program (Mining, Civil, etc) or Diploma program (Mine Engineering Technology)
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Word, etc.)
· Proficiency in AutoCAD considered an asset
· Able to work independently and interact in a team environment
· Candidate must be highly versatile and able to handle multiple projects and manage time effectively
· Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment, build trust and maintain positive relationships with a wide variety of personnel
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with strong analytical and problem solving abilities
· Ability to coordinate activities, information, materials or resources within own area of responsibility
· Preference will be given to qualified Residents of Saskatchewan’s North (RSN). Athabasca residents will be given priority.
