We are seeking detail-oriented Project Planners/Schedulers to join our team and play a crucial role in establishing and managing schedules for operating plants and new plant deployment projects. This position is vital for ensuring effective project planning, resource optimization, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using specialized scheduling software
  • Create and manage work breakdown structures that align with scheduling and cost tracking requirements
  • Perform critical path analysis and develop "what-if" scenarios to evaluate potential schedule impacts
  • Monitor and track project schedules through completion, identifying and addressing potential delays
  • Lead project schedule status meetings and provide valuable project data analysis
  • Coordinate resource requirements including staff, materials, and equipment
  • Work with IT teams to implement and enhance scheduling software tools
  • Provide scheduling training and coaching to project team members
  • Generate and analyze project metrics, creating accurate reports for management
  • Develop and implement scheduling process improvements

Ideal qualifications

 Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with 0-4 years of related work experience, OR
  • Bachelor's Degree in non-technical discipline with 2-6 years of related work experience, OR
  • Equivalent additional experience in lieu of degree

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of complex planning and scheduling concepts
  • Proficiency with project scheduling software
  • Knowledge of nuclear power plant systems, components, and interrelated activities
  • Experience with work breakdown structures and critical path analysis
  • Solid grasp of resource planning and allocation
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
