Major Duties & Responsibilities:
Develop lashing plans for the securement of radioactive materials in accordance with applicable regulations, industry standards, and engineering principles.
Provide technical support regarding transportation regulations, including applicability determination and methods for compliance.
Provide field operations support on the resolution of technical issues and/or process improvements involving packaging and transportation of radioactive materials.
Develop and maintain procedures and manuals related to the operations and maintenance of radioactive material packaging.
Provide technical support during design and licensing activities involving radioactive material transportation packaging.

Job Description
TN Americas, a subsidiary of Orano, is seeking a Shop Superintendent to manage all aspects of manufacturing within its metal fabrication facility, in the nuclear fabrication group, in Kernersville, NC.
The Shop Superintendent will supervise personnel and their performance to company goals and metrics, in compliance with all company policies, including local, state, and federal regulations. The Shop Superintendent will partner directly with Quality, Engineering and Project Management to ensure products meet contractual requirements and Customer expectations.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead, direct, and supervise hourly manufacturing team to support key performance indicators of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, inventory management & material control
Monitor & report production goals, objectives, and standards; and communicate performance throughout organization
Drive & Ensure accountability of adherence to company policies, procedures, and performance standards
Maintain traceability of material throughout manufacturing process
Drive safety culture & ensure adherence to company safety policies and compliance agencies
Identify, forecast, and justify human resource & equipment needs.
Develop resources & talent to ensure growth path for high achieving personnel
Ensure all required training is conducted and appropriate record management is maintained
Identify and escalate operational problem to management with options for resolution
Monitor & control departmental budgets to support financial targets
Initiate continuous improvements activities to enhance safety, quality, and productivity metrics
Cooperate with Engineering to assist in developing procedures, processes, and methods to support manufacturing.
Provide feedback on fabricability of Engineering designs & propose alternatives, as needed
Optimize workflow and adjust as necessary to achieve goals and objectives

Demonstrate ownership of processes & equipment in assigned manufacturing areas
Develop & oversee manufacturing concepts to simplify/improve manufacturing processes to ensure best practices are utilized
Improve manufacturing efficiency by optimizing product flow, footprint requirements, and cell layout
Prepare product & process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends
Lead continuous improvement efforts by maintaining priority list of improvement projects to drive efficiency and productivity
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements
Develop production strategies for new products to include identifying equipment and staffing models
Ability to design & build fixturing/tooling/lifting devices for manufacturing of legacy & new products, to include load testing and maintaining inventory of such devices
Assures product & process quality by reviewing & designing test methods and procedures
Maintain equipment functionality by coordinating maintenance & repair services with Facilities team per manufacturer's instructions/guidelines or requesting special services

Major Duties and Responsibilities
The Manufacturing Tech I-II will perform a variety of fabrication tasks including but not limited to:
Perform assembly, and intermediate level equipment and tooling set up.
Perform intermediate level parts preparation
Operate various saws, CNC cutting machines (such as laser, waterjet, plasma), and other equipment as required
Perform rigging, either by assisting or leading the task, to transport parts throughout the facility
Abrasively blast and/or paint product in fabrication phases or as final assemblies
Follow shop travelers with minimal supervision and making accurate document entries
Work flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service
Work from drawings, specifications, procedures, SWIs, electronic data, and written and verbal instructions
Grind welds, blend parts, remove burrs, wire brush parts, steel stamp parts, clean parts with solvent or steam, wrap parts with plastic and/or tarps for shipment, and help load parts as required
Straighten assemblies, as required, throughout various stages of fabrication
Assist maintenance and other shop or office personnel in moving or handling materials, parts, equipment, furniture, or other items as required
Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly
Utilize the principles of Lean Manufacturing.

Job Description:
Orano TN is seeking a Fabrication Project Manager I-II in our Kernersville, NC location. Under general supervision, this position will independently plan, execute, and manage projects to meet quality, budget, and schedule requirements. This position requires in-depth knowledge of metal manufacturing processes meeting ASME and AWS codes including welding (GMAW, GTAW, SAW, etc.), machining (CNC and manual), and special processes. Manage all aspects of a project from kick-off to close-out, including written and verbal communication at all levels within the organization, as well as externally to customers and suppliers. Partners directly with production to ensure all production needs are met in advance.
Major duties and responsibilities including but are not limited to:
Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring raw materials, parts, and shop paperwork is ready for the production line to run.
Review of customer contracts, specifications and drawings to develop bill of materials, determine testing and fabrication methods required, including outsourcing of items and services.
Develop manufacturing strategy, including determining the need for outsourcing of items and services
Prepare and maintain manufacturing plan, including travelers, project specific procedures, project specific drawings and test plans, DDSs, and weld maps in compliance with the TNF Quality Assurance program to meet contract requirements
Arrange freight shipments under blanket POs, keeping shipping department advised in advance of all shipping arrangements.
Prepare detailed, technically-complete and accurate purchase requisitions
Bear accountability for project results, working in conjunction with the budget, Project Controls, Accounting, and Plant Manager, clearly communicating expectations and needs
Provide fabrication input, as needed, for estimates.
• Identify and proactively resolve issues and solve problems throughout project life cycle
Document and route for approval all project changes by initiating change notices
Track and report project milestones, initiating and leading recovery plan, as required.
