Purpose of position
Within the Engineering team, the Mechanical Engineer will integrate operational engineering multi-disciplines teams delivering projects at various phases, from FEED to commissioning, or in assistance to Plant Operation in the UK. As a Mechanical Engineer at Orano Limited, you will be involved in a variety of specialist tasks. This could include:
Supporting/delivering and organising technical studies/projects.
Supporting the design of mechanical processes, from strategic and conceptual phases to detailed design and construction & commissioning phase support. Typical supporting deliverables that will be issued: technical note, substantiation notes, mechanical flow diagrams and flow-sheets, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and mechanical layout drawings, hazards and malfunctions management, technical specification documentation review from supply chain.
Technical studies related to mechanical handling for both handling operations and heavy mechanical transfer systems, powder mechanical processes (transport, milling, and compaction) in high active environment and gloveboxes, compaction and mechanical dismantling technologies.
Technical networking within Orano, including with Orano experts.
Close working relationships with other Orano sites and client sites may be required, which necessitates regular travel to those sites (dependent upon project).
This role is based in our Warrington office.

Electrical I&C Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Electrical I&C Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, you will work on complex engineering assignments in electrical power, instrumentation, and controls. You'll contribute to develop network architecture and design, develop software interfaces, and provide crucial project operations support.
Key Responsibilities
- Define the technical requirements related to I&C and Process Control
